Assistant Director of Athletics Media Relations will serve as the secondary contact for football and the primary contact for men's basketball, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field, men's and women's cross country plus assist with other sports as necessary. Assistant Director of Athletics Media Relations will report to the Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Information. A bachelor's degree with a major in journalism, public relations, or a related field and at least one year of experience in journalism, public relations, or publications involving athletic activities. Must have strong written and oral communication skills, along with a basic knowledge of sports. Computer knowledge (MacIntosh and PC) and proficiency in Quark, Photoshop, and StatCrew software.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
