JOB SUMMARY Greet patients and arranges for the efficient and orderly registration of patientsEnsures that accurate patient and insurance information is collected and that patients are made aware of clinic policies and proceduresAnswers telephone, answers billing questions from patientsProcesses medical records request, information requests and general patient account functionsWorks with and has access to confidential patient informationPosition requires making frequent decisions or actions following general procedures often without clearly defined precedentsPosition requires a high degree of mental alertness and close visual attention to detailsPosition requires diplomacy and a professional image and manner in dealing with patients, families, visitors, and clinic personnelPatient Service Representative is responsible for a positive first impression of clinic personnel as the initial point of service contact for clinic customersThis position has high contact with patients, employees and physiciansAttendance is an essential function of this job.
