7K a year POSITION SUMMARY As a pool technician, your duties will include driving to the customers' location, adding chemicals to correct ensure pool balance as well as diagnosing/repairing/replacing light fittings, leaks, cracks, and faulty equipment.
To ensure success as a pool service technician, you should have excellent knowledge of swimming pool equipment and maintenance, be able to work with hazardous chemicals and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Communicating with Service manager daily regarding assigned tasks.
Ensure that assigned service vehicle is stocked and prepared for the day's jobs.
Driving the company vehicle to customer's location.
Maintaining equipment and chemical stock levels in service vehicle.
Adding acid, chlorine, and other chemicals to correct pH level.
General maintenance of all components of swimming pools and communicating work completed clearly with customers.
Fitting and repairing plumbing for spas and pools.
Diagnosing/Repairing/Replacing faulty pool cleaning equipment.
Completing tasks in the software system and ensuring that all notes regarding customer location are properly documented.
Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 1-3 years of general service experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
