Position Summary The Sr. Manager Facility/Regional SH&E will coordinate and execute environmental, health, and/or safety programs to ensure practical, cost-effective measures are in place within the workplace to drive a Safety Culture among employees to drive accountability and responsibility for health, safety and environmental conditions and practices. The SH&E Sr. Manager ensures daily employee compliance with government laws/regulations and also Nestle policy. The SH&E Sr. Manager will report directly to the Factory Manager and be flexible to complete any and all other duties assigned. EXPERIENCE Analyze SH&E conditions and recommends changes to continuously improve facility SH&E performance. Drive and lead the SHE committee team. Develop and implement processes and procedures (SOP's) to ensure facility compliance with company and regulatory agency policies - including federal, state, and local legislation and also regulations pertaining to worker safety and preservation of the environment. Administer training programs for safety incident prevention, protection, and SH&E management systems. Through active participation, lead the facility to adopt a ZERO TOLERANCE MENTALITY toward SH&E losses and drive culture within the framework of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. EXPECTATIONS Inspire Change:
Create a compelling understanding of the Nestle S&H values and inspire stakeholders to excel in compliance & continuously improve, leveraging NCE Foundations and Advanced Practices. Promote a behavioral approach to S&H, based on Nestle Leadership Framework. Create Strategy:
Identify S&H priorities, current & future challenges, and opportunities for change at site/unit level. Develop a holistic strategy and implementation plan, aligned with Market priorities & objectives, and with the overall site/unit OMP. Guide implementation and communication of the strategy. Implement NMS:
Guide implementation of the NMS for Q & SHE, and other Group S&H Standards. Develop and continuously improve site/unit S&H programs to deliver compliance and performance improvement. Ensure local S&H management system is certified to ISO 45000. Develop Capability of Managers and develop S&H Networks:
Develop & coordinate S&H networks of professionals, champions, and SMEs for the site/unit. Develop their functional and leadership competencies and ensure robust succession plans for key S&H positions. Provide Guidance:
Identify expertise and good practices from inside and outside Nestle and communicate them internally (both within the site/unit and beyond). Provide Support:
Co-ordinate internal & external resources to ensure delivery of high quality and efficient S&H support. EDUCATION A Bachelor of Science Degree in safety, environmental or similar discipline preferred. Preferably 5-Yea
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Environmental Health & SafetyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
