8 Full-time 8 hours ago Full Job Description JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Associate, diploma, or baccalaureate degree in nursing is required.
Must be licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas.
Must maintain driver's license valid in the state of Arkansas and automobile liability insurance Experience Two years patient care nursing experience preferred with one year in Hospice or community setting.
Prior experience in Med/Surgery, Oncology, Home Health, or Hospice desirable.
Knowledge of hospital and departmental policies and procedures, patient care procedures, ability to operate technical equipment as acquired through orientation.
Physical Driving is part of job responsibilities.
Close eye work.
Hearing of normal and soft tones.
Distinguish smells.
Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping and reaching.
Lifting up to 100 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs.
Carrying up to 40 lbs.

JOB SUMMARY Provides direct nursing care and assesses the patient's condition and nursing needs of the terminally ill patient using nursing process; set goals; prescribes appropriate nursing intervention to meet those goals of the physical and psychological needs of the patient and family.
Able to function independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Incumbents are subject to overtime and call-back as required by the hospital.
The RN will serve as a role model for nursing assistants and students by demonstrating clinical competence and leadership.
The RN must promote good public relations for the unit, the nursing division, and the medical center while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Full Time, 7am - 7pm, Includes weekends/holidays.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
