Essential Job Functions:
Recruit, interview, hire and train new staff.
Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Facilitate safety training for the production team and ensure safe operation of equipment.
Promote a culture of safety by leading, teaching and reinforcing all Company safety standards.
Oversee production quotas and schedules, ensuring inventory and shipment targets are met.
Collaborate with purchasing department to verify, review, maintain, and report on materials and production inventories.
Facilitate and authorizes repairs or maintenance for production equipment.
Identify and recommends cost controls and other improvements to the production process.
Identify potential customers and collaborates with the designated sales representative to increase sales.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Management, or related field required.
At least four years of leadership experience in production or related field required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Frequent walking, stooping, bending, reaching, observing, and inspecting the equipment and facility for safety concerns, or repairs.
Frequent exposure to the elements, dust, strong odors, and varying degrees of lighting, air quality, temperatures, and noise levels.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
