Job Description Check daily operations of color sorters.
Trouble shoot and diagnose faults on sorters and scales, order new parts as needed.
Job Duties Check operation of sorters daily.
Troubleshoot & diagnose faults on the Sorters and order new parts when needed.
Keep in contact with the grader operator to make sure damage and seeds stay in spec.
Relieve all operators in the mill when they are absent or need to leave early.
Do the EPA emissions check anytime the designated operator is not available.
Do the riser checks for the water system when the designated operator is not available.
Work on Waldenburg's Sorters & calibrate Mill L's scales as needed.
Work on Mill J scales/ calibrate as needed.
Chane the water filters on the KB40's.
Help maintenance when needed.
Check all fire extinguishers in Mill J.
Check E-Maints.
And add new assets, checking hard plastics and greasing screw conveyors.
Take care of both metal detectors, weekly inspections, and repairs.
Work on the shellers, vta's, vbf's and kb40's repairing electrical components and air problems.
Do monthly inventory when designated operator is not available.
Change light bulbs throughout Mill J.
Drive sweeper to help keep the mill clean.
Education Requirements High school diploma or GED plus specialized training and/or additional college courses and two years of related experience and/or training; and a minimum of 1-6 months of experience.
