The Manufacturing Engineering Technician is responsible for working with a Manufacturing Engineer on capital projects.
Will also work on solving problems in the plant operation.
Responsibilities:
Works with MEs on projects.
Helps with building equipment, installing equipment, and troubleshooting equipment.
Develops equipment manuals and standards for automated equipment.
Solves problems related to automated manufacturing equipment.
Conducts plant visits to help with projects.
Plan own work after definite objectives are set by the manager, referring only unusual cases to the manager.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma, college degree preferred.
5
years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Technician.
Familiarity with all types of machinery and equipment including hand tools, welding equipment, fabrication equipment, and automation equipment.
Skills:
MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint PLC programming Must interact with other professionals Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus Travel:
