Strategic HR Manager

This position is located in Coopersville, MI. We are seeking candidates willing to relocate to Michigan for this position.

Summary:
Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking an experienced Strategic Human Resource Manager for a manufacturing client in the Grand Rapids, MI, area to provide strategic leadership support at the plant level for all human resources policies, procedures, and programs. This individual will provide overall guidance to the HR function by overseeing training, leadership development and mentorship, benefits and compensation, employee relations, compliance, health and safety, and recruitment efforts at the plant level.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with and provide support to functional and department managers and supervisors to ensure all HR policies, procedures, and programs meet their needs
Ensure processes and procedures are communicated effectively and align with corporate objectives' provides a broad range of consultative services to all levels of employees regarding policies and procedures
Facilitates communication among employees and management; guide managers and employees on problem solving, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance
Train, coach, and mentor HR staff to help them solve problems, build relationships, transfer HR knowledge, and achieve business goals while promoting company culture
Directs the needs assessment of training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving goals and objectives
Market and deliver value-adding interventions pertaining to organizational development, effectiveness and talent management
Supervise and provide direction to direct and indirect reports engaged in HR tasks

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, human resource management, organizational development, or a related field required; PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience in a leadership role required
Experience in a manufacturing environment required, food manufacturing preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and diverse populations
Ability to plan and implement programs and projects within designated time frames
Ability to be creative and identify & implement innovative approaches in leadership

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
